Sarah Voelkl

Position:
Corporate Partnership Coordinator

Sarah joined ACT as Coordinator of Corporate Partnerships in August 2017. In this role, she is a member of the ACT Development team, responsible for generating and cultivating corporate relationships with local, national and international companies that align with ACT’s mission and core values. She also provides a range of support to bolster ACT’s fundraising efforts. Sarah has more than a decade of experience managing complex, socially conscious partnerships for corporations, foundations, and not-for-profit organizations, often serving as the primary relationship manager.

Before joining ACT, Sarah served as Head of Partnerships for Ashoka’s Changemakers unit, and earlier, as Manager of Philanthropy for Dylan's Candy Bar, created and oversaw national development of the corporation’s philanthropy program. From 2009-2014, she also ran a not-for-profit organization, Heel Your Sole, Inc., that worked directly with at-risk youth in underserved communities nationwide, creating and developing a volunteer-based pilot program, marketing partnerships, and business plans. Sarah is a graduate of the University of Rochester, and has a Certificate in Social Entrepreneurship from the Wharton School of Business.

In her free time, she loves to travel to remote places where her GPS doesn't work, and organizing literary-themed dinner parties.
