ACT is thankful for the financial support of our donors and constituents, and we take the security of your credit card and personal information seriously.
In order to assure you that this information is secure, ACT has partnered with Sage Payment Solutions to process your online credit card donation through a secure connection. In addition, with one-time donations via our site, your credit card number is not stored on our server or in our database.
What information do we collect?
We collect information from you when you make a donation, subscribe to our newsletter, respond to a survey or fill out a form.
When donating or subscribing on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and credit card information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

To improve our website: we continually strive to improve our website offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you. To process transactions: Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other organization for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of fulfilling your donation requests. To send periodic emails:The email address you provide when donating or subscribing may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your donation and ACT interests, as well as occasional company news, updates, invitations, and project information. Note: If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include instructions for unsubscribing at the bottom of each email.
How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit, or access your personal information.
We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our payment gateway provider’s database to be accessible only by those authorized with special access rights to such systems; these authorized persons are required to keep your information confidential.
After a transaction, your private financial information (credit card numbers, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or providing requested services to you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect the rights, property, or safety of our staff or other persons. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act), meaning we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age.
