Jessica joined ACT in November 2012 as part of the strategic planning team, assisting with the development and composition of the organization-wide programmatic in coordination with ACT’s senior staff and international offices. She also coordinates ACT’s grant reporting and assists with proposal development, in both regards helping senior staff to implement procedures to increase the rigor of these processes. Her work in strategic planning now focuses on supporting the development and implementation of the new performance monitoring system and on providing continued support to the country offices in organizing the theories of change for their projects to align with the Open Standards for Practice of Conservation (as outlined by the Conservation Measures Partnership).
Jessica received her M.S. and B.S. degrees from the University of Georgia, with focuses in program development and evaluation, human dimensions of natural resources management, conservation ecology and sustainable development, environmental education, social sciences research, and nonprofit management.
